 The PM-USHA Sponsored National Workshop on Density Functional Theory (DFT) for Material Scientists 2026 (NWDFTMS-2026) was successfully organized on Monday, March 02, 2026. The one-day comprehensive workshop aimed to equip researchers, academicians, and material scientists with advanced knowledge in computational materials science. The event commenced in the morning with a registration and breakfast networking session, followed by the formal Inauguration Function from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, which set a collaborative and academic tone for the day's proceedings. The academic schedule was divided into four highly engaging sessions.
