Guest Lecture of Prof. D. P. Dubal (4 January, 2024)

Department of Physics, Shivaji University organized a lecture on "Unlocking Academic Pathways: Seizing Career Opportunities Post MS/PhD Abroad" on January 4, 2024. The purpose of this program was to provide information about the opportunities in higher education. Speaker of the program Prof. Deepak Dubal, Queensland University of Technology, Australia highlighted his academic journey, current research and various opportunities available in research and higher education. Introduction of the program and introduction of Prof. Dubal by Head of Department Prof. R. G. Sonakawade. The Department of Physics is committed to enhancing knowledge and providing valuable opportunities to students to excel at the global level, said the President of the program Hon. Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. S. Patil. Prof. Dubal was felicitated by Prof. P. S. Patil. In his presidential address emphasized the importance of research on renewable energy sources in the field of renewable energy generation and storage and encouraged the students to strive not only to become masters in their field but to become masterpiece. Prof. K. Y. Rajpure give remarks on Prof. Dubal's academic career. Dr. Umesh Chougale thanked everyone for their hard work to make the event a success. Neha and Sadhana, students of the Physics department, anchored the event. The program was actively participated by students, professors and heads of departments from various departments inside and outside the campus including LBS college Satara, Rajaram College Kolhapur, New College, Kolhapur, SGU Atigrey, Science College Solankur, etc. The interactive session after the formality was well received and the program was highly appreciated for its student-centric approach.
