The Department of Physics organized the Induction Program for freshers (2023 batch) on 25th August 2023 with the objective of welcoming newly admitted students and familiarizing them with the academic environment of the department and the university. The program was designed to help students smoothly transition into university life, understand departmental activities, and become aware of the opportunities available for academic and personal growth.
The event began with a warm welcome to the freshers by the Head of the Department and senior faculty members, who introduced the department’s academic structure, curriculum, laboratory facilities, research areas, and various student support services. Faculty members also briefed the students about the rules and regulations of the department, examination patterns, and co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Senior students shared their experiences and offered valuable guidance on managing academics and making the most of university resources.
The induction program concluded on a positive and encouraging note, with faculty members motivating the freshers to pursue excellence in academics, research, and overall personality development. The interactive session helped build confidence among the new students and created a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
