Online streaming of the Aditya L1 spacecraft launching (2nd September 2023)

 

The Department of Physics organized an online streaming program of the Aditya-L1 spacecraft launch on 2nd September 2023 as part of its ongoing initiative to promote scientific awareness and interest in space research among students. Aditya-L1, India’s first solar observatory mission, represents a significant milestone in the country’s space exploration journey and highlights the strength of India’s fundamental research and technological capabilities. The objective of the program was to provide students with an opportunity to witness a historic scientific event in real time and to understand its scientific importance.

Students, research scholars, and faculty members enthusiastically gathered to watch the live launch, creating an atmosphere of excitement and curiosity.
