The Department of Physics organized a Teacher’s Day Celebration on 5th September 2023 to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the academic and personal growth of students. The program was held in the department with the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D. T. Shirke Sir, as the Chief Guest. The event was conducted in a warm and respectful atmosphere, reflecting the deep regard and gratitude that students hold for their teachers.
The program began with a formal welcome of the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, followed by brief addresses highlighting the significance of Teacher’s Day, which is celebrated in memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a महान शिक्षाविद and former President of India. Prof. D. T. Shirke Sir, in his inspiring speech, emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in nation-building and encouraged students to value knowledge, discipline, and ethical conduct. Faculty members also shared their thoughts on the evolving responsibilities of educators in the modern academic environment.
