Chandrayaan 3 should be considered a long and hard work success story of fundamental research in India's science and technology sectors.  The department conducts regular activity for the awareness of scientific events to the students. As a part of it, a department has organized a online streaming of the Chandrayana-3 spacecraft landing on the Moon. 

The Department organized an online streaming program of the historic Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft landing on the Moon on 23rd August 2023 as part of its continuous efforts to promote scientific awareness among students. Chandrayaan-3 stands as a remarkable success story of India’s science and technology sectors, representing years of dedicated fundamental research, innovation, and perseverance by Indian scientists. The event aimed to inspire students by connecting them with a real-time milestone in space exploration and to highlight the importance of sustained research and teamwork in achieving national scientific goals.

The online streaming was attended by students, research scholars, and faculty members, who gathered with great enthusiasm to witness the live landing of the Vikram lander near the lunar south pole. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as India successfully became the first nation to land in this challenging region of the Moon.
