Physics Department Student Passes MPSC Exam (PSI) (9 June, 2025)

It was a moment of pride for the Department of Physics at Shivaji University. Ajinkya Namdev Kadam, a former student (Batch 2021-22) of the department, has achieved success in the Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) examination conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). Ajinkya achieved this bright success in the results declared in March 2025, and he was felicitated by the Department of Physics for this achievement.

It is particularly noteworthy that Ajinkya, a resident of Dahivadi village in Sangola taluka, achieved this success in his third attempt, solely through his own hard work and without any kind of coaching classes. His success has become an inspiration for many.

Speaking on the occasion of the felicitation, Prof. Dr. R. G. Sonkawade, Head of the Department of Physics, heartily congratulated Ajinkya. He said, "Ajinkya's success is not just his own; it is a symbol of his hard work, determination, and consistent study. Students should respect punctuality, discipline, and moral values in their lives. These qualities alone will lead them to the pinnacle of success."

On this occasion, along with Prof. Dr. Sonkawade, other professors from the department, including Prof. Dr. K. Y. Rajpure, Dr. N. L. Tarwal, Dr. M. V. Takale, Dr. H. M. Yadav, Dr. A. R. Patil, and Dr. S. S. Patil, were present. Everyone extended their best wishes to Ajinkya for his future endeavors.
